JAZZ
Every Saturday night at 21:30 until late
Live jazz at La Part des Anges has become one of the signature experiences at Les Mazots du Clos, and this winter we are proud to host the Peter Elias Trio for a full residency. It is a rare opportunity to hear jazz of this calibre in a room as intimate as ours – close enough to see every detail of the playing, yet relaxed enough to feel completely at home.
Saturday nights at La Part des Anges: great drinks, live jazz, popcorn on the house.
The trio brings together three musicians who are respected across the Swiss and European jazz scenes. Peter Elias is known both as a bassist and as a builder of fine instruments played by top professionals. Noé Macary, a Parisian pianist performing widely in Switzerland and France, brings a clear, personal voice shaped by a broad musical background. Marc-Olivier Savoy, one of the leading drummers in Swiss Romand jazz, is valued for his touch, timing and strong musical identity.
Hearing this kind of ensemble up close in Villars is unusual. Most audiences only encounter music of this standard at established jazz venues or festivals. At La Part des Anges, the setting is smaller, the atmosphere warmer, and the connection to the musicians immediate.
“Jazz washes away the dust of everyday life”
Throughout the winter – from 20 December until the end of March 2026 – the trio will perform every Saturday from 21:30 until late. Our bar team will be serving a full selection of wines, cocktails and spirits, with popcorn on the house, and the space stays open as long as the music continues. After dinner at Saskia’s, guests are invited to come down to La Part des Anges for the jazz.
For guests who appreciate craft, musicianship and authenticity, these Saturday nights are well worth planning around.
For jazz lovers, they are essential.
